Although child restraint systems undergo thorough testing and evaluation, it is possible that a child restraint could be recalled. Safety campaigns or recalls call the consumer's attention to products that need to be repaired, modified or replaced after the manufacturing process. Many times, a simple replacement part may be necessary to improve performance of the product.
